ここクイーンズランド州ではよく見かけるお花、ブーゲンビリアです。
南米原産のピンク、オレンジなど華やかな色のこのお花、実はお花の部分は真ん中のよく見なければ見逃しそうな小さな白い部分で、お花のように見える華やかな色の部分は葉なのです。魂の花とも呼ばれています。
